TRAINING FOR MINISTRY

"And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses,
the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also."
II Timothy 2:2

Preparing for Service

Is there a real need for new grace pastors, evangelists, and missionaries? We believe that there is a need and that the need is great.

The Scriptures indicate that God uses prepared individuals for ministry. Joseph, Moses, David, Elisha, the Apostles, Timothy, and even the Lord Jesus Himself are examples of those who spent years in preparation for service. Berean Bible Institute exists to help train the next generation of God's servants.

What Kind of Program Does BBI Offer?

BBI offers a full three-year Bible and ministry training program in a Bible institute format.

BBI has a workable and practical curriculum designed to give students a solid understanding of the whole Bible.

BBI emphasizes the importance of personal study and proper Bible interpretation  with a balanced approach to ministry.

BBI promotes the preaching of God's Word as the primary ministry of the Church.

BBI's instructors are all committed to the Word of God "rightly divided" and have valuable ministry experience.

BBI Distinctives

Literal Interpretation
BBI is committed to a literal and historically accurate understanding of the Scriptures as God's inerrant Word.

Dispensational Point of View
BBI's literal approach to the Scriptures brings it to a dispensational view of how the Bible is to be understood, in the light of prophecy and mystery.

The Message of Grace
At BBI, the Bible is taught dispensationally in light of the distinct message revealed by the Lord to the Apostle Paul for the current Dispensation of Grace (Gal. 1:11-12; Eph. 3:1-11; Col. 1:25-27).  BBI has a workable and practical curriculum designed to give our students a solid understanding of “the revelation of the mystery” and its importance in proper Bible interpretation with a balanced approach to ministry and the ability to effectively preach and teach the Word of God.

The Authority of Scripture
BBI holds to the Bible as being sufficient in itself and of full authority for all matters of faith and practice.

The Sufficiency of Christ
The shedding of Jesus Christ's blood on the cross was sufficient to make the salvation of all men possible. All who trust in Him as Savior are saved and receive eternal life.

The Blessed Hope
BBI believes that Jesus Christ will remove the Church (the Body of Christ) from the earth before the Tribulation begins.
